Johnny Murff

Johnny Murff

Johnny Murff was born in Southern Louisiana and raised in Centerville, Texas. He grew up following his father to every out-of-the-way place in and around Leon County. His dad was in the real estate business in Centerville and surrounding areas in the 60's, 70's and 80's. To say he knows the area is an understatement. Johnny spent several years working with his father in the real estate industry. Later, he worked as a mapper and appraiser for the Leon County Central Appraisal District before joining the oil & gas industry as a Petroleum Landman. After spending fifteen years working in areas from southeast to southwest Texas, he decided it was time to settle back home in Leon County. He knew he was ready to jump back into real estate.

He loves the deer & hog hunting in this area and wants to help others find their 'deerest (and hoggiest) place.' Johnny met his wife, Rhonda (also a realtor for Henson Land & Ranch Company), on one of her visits to Centerville. They married in 1979 and have two sons, John and Jameson. John and his wife, Rebecca, live in Las Vegas, NV and are parents to four dogs. Jameson and his wife, Ashley, have two sons, one daughter, and are expecting another son in April. Jameson is currently stationed in Corpus Christi, TX. Johnny is determined to help clients buy and sell effortlessly.
